Faces of ISIS

Faces of ISIS is a portrait series that delves into the lives of individuals connected to the Islamic State, highlighting their backgrounds and experiences. The series features Ali Khaled Ali, a fighter from Mosul who voluntarily joined ISIS to kill Shiites, and Mohammed Ibrahim, an ISIS Amir from a nearby village who also sought to eliminate "infidels." It also includes Yassir Hossein Ahmed, a young fighter from Tal Afar born in 1997, who claims he was coerced into joining the group under threats to his life and family.
